Singapore the city which never sleeps.
On Boxing day 2014 me along with my hubby boarded Srilankan airlines from Colombo and reached this beatiful city around midnight.
We could only sleep as soon as we reached the hotel since we were pretty much tired of the flight delay.Having done the itinerary for the following day and having had our dinner on our flight the day ended with a sound sleep.

Day 01
Universal Studios~Having woken up early to a beautiful sunny morning we started our day by going to The Universal studios.

Universal Studios Singapore is a theme park located within Resorts World Sentosa on Sentosa Island, Singapore.1

Attractions available were,
☆Hollywood ☆Newyork ☆Madagascar ☆The lost world ☆Ancient Egypt ☆Sci-Fi city ☆Far far away

Of which we enjoyed The rides of Madagascar, Hollywood’s Lights Camera Action,The 4D movie in Far far away and some attractions in Ancient Egypt and in the Lost world.
Wish we had brought our kids along too for they are the most eligible ones for such theme parks.

Having spent the whole day of unlimited excitement,we returned back to our hotel feeling exhausted.Ending our day One in Singapore.

Day 02
S.E.A Aquarium~ We Began our journey by travelling back in time to discover Asia’s maritime heritage at The Maritime Experiential Museum. Then entered to a dome to explore the marine realm of S.E.A. Aquarium, A Gigantic home to more than 100,000 marine animals of over 800 species, across into 49 different habitats including Sharks and Dolphins, each one as fascinating as the next. It was a lifetime experience which we’ll never forget.

Day 03
Singapore flyer & Shopping~
The Singapore Flyer is a giant Ferris wheel which is165m in height. Described by its operators as an observation wheel, which opened in 2008, We were so thrilled to be on such a height which made me sing the song

“I’m on the
top of the world lookin’
down on creation
And the only explanation I can find
Is the love that I’ve found ever since you’ve been around

top of the world”

By the time we were done it was almost lunch time.Had lunch at the Food Republic.Chicken rice with grilled chicken and vegetable stir fry. YUMMY….

After having lunch we were on our way shopping.Orchard road was heaven on Earth with blings all over, just after Christmas.
Shop…shop..till you drop kinda day it was !!

Day 04
Chilling out & Departure~Having had three full days of continuous exertion our fourth day was a little bit of last minute drop ins and purely relaxation,we managed to pack our bags according to the required weight although the weight determine needle was trying to skip an ounce more.Forcing us to put a halt to shopping.
Later that evening we boarded our flight back to Colombo with our mind full of cherished memories and with the excitement of seeing our children back at home.
