The Notebook.

โ€‹
The worn, torn, Red note book,

Sits in silence all alone.

Hiding stories from in and out,

Stories it had witnessed right through out.

I want to open it and read all its witnesses

But its pages are welded tight.

This closed,thin bound book,

Stares and glares defiantly every night.

This worn, torn red note book

Came from a beautiful loved past life.

Closed, it keeps our secrets hidden,

Safe from any past lived strife.

……  ……………………………………………………………

In response to today’s word prompt Witness.

  1. Hey there I am so glad I found your webpage, I really found you by accident, while I was searching on Google for something else, Regardless I am here now and would
just like to say thanks for a tremendous post and
a all round enjoyable blog (I also love the theme/design),
I donโ€™t have time to read through it all at the minute but I have book-marked it
and also added in your RSS feeds, so when I have time
I will be back to read a great deal more, Please do keep
    up the fantastic work.
